Hi, I’m Gracie, the farm kid behind A Farm Kid’s Guide to Agriculture. I grew up on a small corn and soybean farm in Central Illinois and now live in the city, working professionally in agriculture communication. I’m fascinated with production agriculture and am still feeling out the opportunities with video technology. Also a coffee lover, cat mom, baker of cupcakes and grad student. 2017 is the year I dedicate more time to my blog, but find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat (all @FarmKidBlog) for more frequent updates!

I work for a communications agency called Osborn Barr and most of the clients are agriculture organizations. I don’t write for A Farm Kid’s Guide to Agriculture during client time, nor do my opinions reflect those of my employer or any of their clients. All tweets, blog posts and photos are my own. Remember, this blog is all about agriculture through the eyes of a farm kid. Ask questions if you have them, but please adhere to the rules above.
