Episode 029 – The 10 Gallon Challenge

The Normal FFA chapter (Normal, IL) made an impact on social media last month when they took up the 10 Gallon Challenge, purchasing ten gallons of milk to donate to a local food pantry as part of a larger effort to raise awareness of the current state of the dairy industry and to emphasize the importance of milk as part of a nutritious diet. They nominated several other FFA chapters, beginning a ripple effect that has resulted in more than 300 chapters across the country accepting the challenge.

In this episode, Gracie interviews Normal FFA members Kenzie Kraft and Mollie Brothers and their advisor, Liz Harris, about their experience with the 10 Gallon Challenge and the power of social media, including the positive outcomes and the challenges that come with a wide reach.
