Thanksgiving is nearly here and we have a lot to be grateful for this year, even if Claire and I are both a little nervous to bring our boyfriends home to spend our first major holidays with our families this weekend. We cover tips for introducing significant others to the family this holiday season, whether Christmas comes too early, and remembering what is important this holiday season. In light of several recent food recalls, we also remind ourselves that we have an incredibly safe and affordable food supply available to us, and the technology and communications infrastructure we have at our disposal only makes it safer, even if it seems like we’re hearing about more and more food recalls. Ultimately, it’s a good thing, and we challenge the agriculture industry to speak up and emphasize points like this, even when the media is building a lot of hype and sometimes spreads misinformation in the heat of the moment.
